R Agro’s Kokum Agal is a traditional kokum extract prepared from Garcinia Indica, a fruit widely used in Konkan cuisine. The kokum is naturally processed by mixing it with salt, allowing the fruit to release its natural juices.
The kokum is soaked in its own extract for several days, allowing the rich flavour and colour to develop naturally. The entire preparation process follows traditional methods and does not involve heavy machinery.
The filtered kokum syrup can be used in cooking or combined with sugar and water to create a refreshing summer drink. Kokum Agal is also valued for its cooling properties and ability to help reduce fatigue during hot weather.
